Playing w/ Textures.

Hello my lovely readers!
I've missed you guys!
Fear not! I shall be here more often since I've told myself that I've seriously gotta stay committed to my relationship with you all and post more more more! (which reminds me of that at&t commercial that is just gosh darn too cute esp. the version about werewolves ahaha *giggling)
So here's a quick update for you all!
Textures have always been a must, they have a way of pulling my heartstings hehe
(If you guys haven't gotten into it, try to play around with simple textures and see how it goes!)

Ever since the wonderful creation of quilted things on apparel rose up into the fashion scene I have been in love with them since - skirts, tops, sweaters..it's a simple "we want more! we want more!" kinda attitude for me. I cannot get enough of them, and every time I put on these lovely quilted tops, my boyfriend laughs and describes it as a pillow or cloud...but hey whats not to love about those fluffy, soft qualities aye??

  Oh! and thanks so much to Shoppiin.com for this amazing skirt! Loving the texture to this skirt, I've been scavenging around for the perfect skirt and I was overjoyed to find this little beauty. Check out their site (here) to find some great finds!

This sheer tail dress is one of the many gifts that I received and I cannot get enough of it haha there's lots of ways to wear this but I chose to stay simple to focus on the dress alone. So here it is, such a simple yet lovely thing to add on to my collection hehe (as you can tell I've been wearing out my lace-up heels lately but seriously I made an awesome investment in these since they can match just about anything I put together - by far my favorite pair of heels. You'll eventually see the other styles that I'll probably come up with for this dress later on this year, so if I get a chance to take a snapshot of it I'll come running to show you all!

Baby Blues

Due to this Temecula heat wave all summer, I can barely even step outside and sit without feeling like I'm melting; and so if not wearing shorts out, here I am wearing dresses! Yep..I would prefer pants over anything but this floral dress from Planet Blue makes everything just a tiny bit better with its thin material and simple structure - not too long nor is it too short - a go-to for an every day summer weather kinda dress.
And it's all thanks to Chictopia for giving me such a lovely thing! hehe *happy inside

Splurging on ZARA Tees

I've been doing some random every-day-tee shopping since I've been craving some more laid-back but chic looks lately, so i'll be mixing the two around. I never really considered what kind of "look" I should go for since I've still jumped here and there testing everything out, but I think I've found what really suits me now...so here it goes!

...if I could I'd buy everything ahaha It's everything I've wanted in a closet, simple, comfortable, grunge, chic, elegant, all in one! It just..perfect. That's that. Perfect. But, then again saying it's perfect probably doesnt even come close to how amazing it is to me..(yes, I probably have gone into la la land in just those few seconds that I was typing that up. Don't judge. haha)

VICTORIA'S SECRET X CHICTOPIA

Hello! Two in a row! Crazy right? ahaha Well it's been a crazy week, and school + work is no time for blog-time haha But of course once I do get that time to pull myself away and take some pics I will always come back running to update you guys haha
So here it is!
My recent activities were Vera Wang & Victoria's Secret's Pink line.
VS is introducing their new Fashion Leggings that certainly do make a statement with their shiny, reflective fabric as well as their unique touches of leather and lace accents to allow you to stand out from the rest! I've styled two in two different ways - one more edgy & the other with more comfort! It's coming at a price of 2 for $40 dollars so you can't go wrong with a deal like that! haha So how would you guys style a pair of these leggings?

VERA WANG PRINCESS

Hello again my lovelies!  

Finally got to update on le blog once again haha
I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far, and for those who've started school this week or a few weeks ago hang in there!
I've always found it exciting when the first day of school creeps in, its a new year, new classes, new teachers, new friends, and much more new memories to make and to fill.
Looking back at it now, I've regretted not doing as much as I could in high school...I should've joined a sport, signed up for clubs, and I could've challenged myself further instead of feeling intimidated by things that I wasn't used to. This is me telling you all to hey try something new! Be different, pull away from the crowd, and do what you've really wanted to try or do. Get out of your comfort zone because those 4 years will pass and you want to look back laughing at silly memories and not regretting it happened - or didn't happen in my case haha
Speaking of high school memories, I have always wanted to find the perfect scent to match my personality and Vera Wang's Princess perfume (buy it here!)  really captured that bit of femininity and fun I've longed for into this little fun sparkly bottle hehe My little sister loved it and I'm pretty sure if you all haven't tried it and gotten a bottle of your own you'd really love it as well haha

Growing up my mom would smell so nice every time I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek to say good morning or goodnight, her smell was neither too strong or too soft...it reminded me of lavender and every single time she passed around the house her smell lingered and trailed behind wherever she went..it's kinda cool how the scent of a perfume can leave such a lasting impression - scents in general - it can trigger a memory, like a person or an event..I know for sure that I can remember the scent of my boyfriend haha I loved the way he smelled so much that he decided to give me a bottle of his cologne so I could spray it over the two teddy bears he gave me as a present, so that every time I missed him he said I could hug those bears and pretend I was hugging him ahahha cheesy isn't it? but hey it worked (*giggling to myself).
I will most definitely take this perfume as a signature scent for this upcoming school year...lets see what memories I can create with it...hehe Well here's to a good day! Goodnight everyone!
