DATE DATE DATE!

It's not every day I get to spend some time with my better half so we spent a day together to fill in those gaps of "i miss you's". First stop: lunch at the Red Robins, by the time we got there I was hungry, by the time we finished I felt bloated due to my habit of eating more than I can handle, I ended up having food coma in the process. Afterwards, we walked our stomachs off at this amazing place near Temecula called Harveston adn waited 'til the sun came down(didn't take pictures since my energy died down after eating ahaha). At the end of the day I became completely unsatisfied because we had to say our farewells and see him drive away once again. I can never get used to the long distance that separates us. You would think that 3 years together would get you used to the days apart, but I guess the saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder" defines our relationship perfectly. I've came to the realization that I take for granted the moments we do have at times and it has dawned on me how very much in love I am with this person...odd really since there's still so many more years ahead of me before I plan to ever marry...if anything, I know one thing for sure...this person has impacted my life without a doubt and I know with him I've learned so much more about myself as well as wanting to be a better person because of it.

I did a quick shot of this outfit while waiting for 5:45 to come so my cousins, sisters, and I could drive down to SD to attend the Rock service at 7:00 haha I was very excited and blessed that night. Spending time with my cousins is always refreshing and I always seem to find myself feeling old in the process since were growing up so fast and the last time I checked we were playing Sailor Moon in our cousin's front yard with their neighbor ---yes Sailor Moon is the bomb!!--- anyways I enjoyed my weekend. I've realized there's a lot of things I need to change about myself not pertaining to any physical changes but  rather who I am as a person. I have a lot to learn and I'm honestly looking forward to who i'll become in the future.

SOMETHING NEW

So I've finally updated on a post again haha There's been so many things happening lately I've hadn't had time to really spend time on my blog. I have missed writing to you guys and giving you guys an update. I wish the best for you all as it is a NEW year haha

 It was my first time to order something from NastyGal thanks to my sister for her late but still perfect birthday and Christmas present haha I was so excited to see the package after coming home from my date with my boyfriend haha DOUBLE THE HAPPINESS!!

BIG BEAR CAMP WEEKEND W/ YOUTH

HEY EVERYONE!! Just got back from Big Bear City with my youth today as a winter camp haha Unfortunately due to my forgetfulness I wasn't able to take good quality pictures with my camera because I left my sd card at home...(gahhh so bummed the past 3 days) but I did take some cool shots with my handy-dandy iphone haha and I did post some of the photos up on my instagram (username as ishmelele). 

 I had loads and tons of fun with them although it was freezing outside and my toes might've fallen off if I hadn't ran back inside after having finished one of our relay races out in the snow to make the best snowman ever in our teams (although it was as close to impossible considering the fact that the snow was too soft to mold into a ball - even for snowball fights hahaha). We also walked around the town and visited this small sweet shop and for the first time I tasted GELATO! & it was DELICIOUSSS!! ahhh so good! hehe afterwards we played some good ol' card games and gestures, as well as this game called Catch Phrase. All in all it was a blessed week, my youth is pretty awesome - just sayin' haha 

 Well here goes my attempt to sleep early tonight,

HAPPY BELATED CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS!!!

So I've seriously been M.I.A the past week or two and I sincerely apologize for the lack there of. I've just been busy with family, church, and the holidays. I will promise to try my best to post up more outfit updates this year and maybe share a little more about my life.

[Little update: ] I'm planning to run another half marathon again this February haha crazy huh? But I gotta push myself to keep in shape and make a goal for myself. I had such a blast spending time with the people I love, oh! & i'll be heading to Big Bear tomorrow morning for my youth's winter camp haha so i'll be absent for a couple of days again...on a good note I finally posted up my last recent and decent outfit of this week haha As you can see I have a slight tear in my tights, I honestly can never have a pair that lasts long enough since I always manage to destroy them somehow..meeehhh

Well  I hope you guys have the best year this year :) haha

TEALS & CHAINS

I've been seriously loving the teal color and accents to my plain balck and white outfits lately, it just adds a pop of color and the price was an amazing find for Zara haha I can't wait to overuse this more and more (oh! I also just bought the black version of the bag...maybe even the white ahaha)

Fringes & Knits

Wearing: Vintage Knit Sweater; Zara fringe skirt; Marc Fisher heels; H&M beanie; and usual accessories haha

I was contemplating when I would ever wear this fringe skirt and its such a waste to wait until summer arrives again. I had to pair it with a sweater so I can warm myself up in this light chilly weather in Temecula. Can't say I want to complain though, I'm very much loving it haha gives me an excuse to bum out at home...although I really shouldn't. I'll be busy preparing for my youth's Christmas Party next weekend so that means decorations, decorations, planning, planning, and more planning haha I hope you all are having a great vacation for Christmas!!
